We often receive gifts for the children which is wonderful, and we are always very grateful for new toys, arts & crafts materials, books and DVD/Videos.  There are however some things we can't accept due to infection control, health & safety and limited storage space.

To help you give an idea of the type of gifts our young patients love to receive, and what we unfortunately can't accept, we have compiled a list:

Yes please!

• Arts & Craft materials such as colouring pens, crayons, paint and paper
• DVD's/Videos (U, PG and 12 rating only please)
• Games (for example Frustration, Connect 4 etc)
• New toys still in packaging
• Electronic consoles and games (Playstation 1 & 2, Gameboy)
• Seasonal (new Christmas decorations)      

Sorry, but we can't accept:

• Used soft toys
• Second-hand toys
• Food (i.e cakes or sweets without ingredients list)
• Clothes
• Prams      

Don't forget, the age group you are donating to is 0 - 16 years. Teenagers are often forgotten...
