Tickets are now on sale for Alder Hey's annual 'Under Starters Orders' celebrity cookery and cocktail challenge event! This year the event takes place on Wednesday 11th April at Hanover Street Social. Tickets are just £35 which includes a three course meal. All proceeds benefit Alder Hey IMAGINE Appeal, the official charity of The John Smith's Grand National 2012. As usual, racing will be beamed live from Ascot to the home of the Grand National and punters compete for race prizes in order to raise funds for Alder Hey's IMAGINE Appeal. The Coniston Challenge is a unique event that will push not only your physical prowess but also your fundraising talents! Teams of 4-6 people are challenged to take part in a 17 km mountain bike ride through the picturesque Grizedale Forest, followed by a 3 km kayay across lake Coniston Waters and finally a 10 km trek to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston!
